Receptionist/Administrative Assistant-- Tomball, TX 77375

Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Needed for the Tomaball area (77375). This is a long term temporay for now opportunity paying $12 to $14 with excellent benefits! Will work Mondays through Fridays from 8 to 5.

Responsibilities:

  • This position is responsible for providing general administrative support to the organization with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks and is accountable for effectively demonstrating courtesy and tact with communicating with vendors, visitors, customers, applicants, and employees.
  • Greet and direct visitors and guests in a professional, courteous and hospitable manner.
  • Answer incoming calls and route them to the appropriate office. Provide callers with information such as company address, directions, fax number and other related information.
  • Greet job applicants, distribute and collect applications and forward them to the HR office.
  • Manage accounting of labor time for QAD by receiving time cards, sorting and inputting time.
  • Maintain Production Boards by creating magnets and updating board.
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail.
  • Maintain copy machines, including meter readings and requesting tech support.
  • Maintain inventory and coordinate reorder of all supplies including; office, cleaning, beverage, and paper supplies.
  • Provide administrative support with clerical duties such as copies, sending faxes, filing, spreadsheets, running daily errands, proof reading, compiling and arranging data, preparing reports, data entry, and other requests.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Professional appearance and telephone manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Team player, Organized and dependable, Flexible and adaptable, Accurate and efficient,
    Action oriented
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience preferred.
  • Must wear required personal protective equipment when in designated areas.
