Bilingual HR Generalist II

Salary: $65K - $70K annually
SUMMARY: Supporting the maintenance of human resources activities and programs, including staffing, compensation, payroll processing, benefits and training.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as liaison to the employees at the worksite for human resource issues and concerns. Provides current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, opportunities and employee benefits.
- Conducts recruitment efforts for all positions and working with third party vendors.
- Performs benefits administration and communicating benefit information to employees. Coordinate and lead annual benefit renewal process.
- Work closely with 3rd party representatives to ensure the company is up to date with the federal and state labor laws. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Assist Managers with employee relations issues, counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing and analyzes data for continuous improvement.
- Process, manage and maintain the payroll service platform (UKG Ready).
- Assist with developing a comprehensive orientation program for all new employees that is company and job title specific;
- Support team members of the Safety Program, it’s initiatives and assist with documenting the required Health and Safety meetings.
- Onsite with weekly travel between (2) locations, both located within Harris county, Houston, TX
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university with Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred., not required
- Three to Four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience to include UKG payroll platforms;
- Bilingual – ability to speak and write in English and Spanish required;
- Ability to work independently, prioritize workload and deliver quality results on time while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Plan, delegate, and organize tasks to consistently produce results, with minimal supervision
- Proficient on Microsoft Office.
