HR Data Specialist-- Houston, Texas 77092

This company is currently seeking an HR Data in the NW Houston area for a temporary role lasting for 6-8 weeks. Must be able to start ASAP. Pay rate is $15-20/hr. depending on experience and qualifications with working hours of Mon-Fri 8a-5pm

The successful candidate will be a customer focused corporate support HR team member, ensuring Human Resources administration is efficient and accurate and employee/manager change requests are handled in a timely manner.

  • Enter and update employee data into HR Systems for employees in US/Canada.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on change data provided by HR/Mgmt.
  • Create new hire employee files and maintain Employee Personnel Files and Medical Files
  • Verification of Employment inquiries inclusive of Mortgage Applications.
  • Unemployment Claim Correspondence
  • Track and reconcile amounts charged to unemployment accounts for employees on unemployment
  • Setup/Processing of Wage Attachments/Garnishments
  • Maintain & Establish HR Shared Services Procedures and Processes including compliance with
    HR Change Request / Payroll Process.
  • Continually analyze, suggest and drive process improvement/efficiency for all areas of HR data
  • On Boarding/New Hire Setup
  • Systems include but not limiting to the following: Ultipro, Adaptive Planning, Leave Request,
    Infor, Taleo, EBS, Fidelity role.


  • Maintains confidentiality and delivers excellent customer service.
  • High School education or equivalent required.
  • Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college to technical school
  • Corporate customer focused support requiring strong communication skills necessary to
    interface with staff at all levels in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment; regular communication
    includes phone, e-mail, letters, and forms.
  • Develops and maintains effective communication and a positive working relationship with all managers, supervisors, and employees; works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from other senior staff.
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies
  • Strong commitment to error free data administration in a customer/service driven team environment Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including use of functions such as Vlookups and QA reporting.
  • Experience four to six years related experience and/or training; or a combination of experience and/or education.
