Position: Cycle Counter
Pay: $19.00/hr - $21.00/hr 
Location: Northwest Houston (Jersey Village)
Schedule: The hours of work are from 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, and Must be flexible to working morning shift from 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM with 24-48 hours’ notice.

MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE A STAND- UP REACH LIFT ( YOU WILL BE TESTED)

The Cycle Counter II is responsible for performing cycle count activities and other assigned duties.

Responsibilities include:
Perform counts of items in inventory through the Oracle ERP system, matching part numbers, quantities, and locators.
Ensure that all items counted are in their correct location and stored in a manner that allows the items to be identified and counted
correctly.
Fill out daily activity reports and maintain all required records related to cycle counting.
Perform recounts on those items with a variance outside the threshold.
Investigate and identify all root cause issues that create a positive or negative variance of more than the target threshold.
Determine the cause of inventory record errors and formulate solutions to correct the problem areas.
Ensure that all items issued from inventory have the correct paperwork prior to release, and that the released inventory is correct in both quantity and part number.
Check items during the normal cycle counting activities for physical deterioration and notify supervisor of deteriorated items.
Maintain the warehouse area in a neat and orderly manner.
Comply with warehouse regulations and/or procedures and maintain safety.
May perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
2-3 years warehouse experience with knowledge of inventory control.
Forklift license and or experience
Experience processing warehouse transactions in Oracle or other ERP system.
Some proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 50lbs. regularly-100lbs intermittently
Stand up to eight hours per day
Ability to work in a seated or standing position
