LOOKING FOR SOMEONE VERY MOTIVATED, A QUICK WORKER THAT CAN WORK IN A QUICK TIMELY MANNER, VERY ENERGETIC AND WILLING TO KNOW A NEW TRADE AND WILL GIVE 100% EVERYDAY!!! There are multiple OPENINGS starting ASAP! Will train for 1 week on First Shift from 7 AM - 4 PM and then move to Second Shift which hours are 5 PM - 2 AM with the possibility of overtime until 4AM. Assignment will last 13 weeks paying $11 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts setup and operation of CNC equipment, inspects machined features to maintain quality, adjusts machine and changes perishable tooling.
  • Experienced with a caliper and blue print reading.
  • Conducts safe and timely CNC equipment setup using the Setup Checklist.
  • Operates CNC and manual equipment to meet production requirements.
  • Makes minor program edits.
  • Adjusts machine to maintain product quality.
  • Informs the Team Leader/Supervisor of any operating or material condition that would interfere with quality/quantity production.
  • Performs routine operator maintenance and operational checks on all tools and equipment utilized, to include: tool sharpening, machine oiling, fluid level/air pressure checks, safety switch functioning etc.
  • Performs dimensional and attribute product inspections to ensure quality product is produced including 1st Article Inspection.
  • Conducts tool setup.
  • Changes perishable tooling that is worn or damaged.
  • Insures timely flow of parts through the machine shop by following set procedures. Makes suggestions for alternate responsibilities when application allows additional internal time.
  • Meets cycle time rates established for specific part numbers.
  • Reads and interprets machine shop blueprints.
  • Accurately uses measurement tools such as micrometers, verniers, height gage, bore gage, and attribute style gages.
  • Segregates and periodically disposes of scrap material into approved collection containers.
  • Follows all 5S practices and supports lean activities, as well as safety regulations policies and procedures.
  • Trains operators to run jobs.

Requirements:

  • High School/GED
  • Ability to read and write needed to comply with written instructions and complete departmental paperwork.
  • Experienced with a caliper and blue print reading
  • Ability to interpret/utilize shop floor documentation
  • Ability to set up and operate basic, manual metal fabrication machines
  • Ability to utilize calibrated precision measuring instruments
  • Ability to perform in-process inspection
  • Ability to do a visual inspection of product (Class A, B, C)
  • Ability to perform basic machine maintenance per TPM procedures and schedules
  • Ability to provide training to other employees
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Lotus Notes, JDE, SAP, Great Plains, HFM, PeopleSoft Preferred, Promotes teamwork and collaboration, Develops oneself, Capacity for learning, Works with minimal supervision, Adaptability to change and ambiguity, Uses sound judgment

This position is temp to hire position, full time, paying $11.00/hr!!
