Warehouse Shipping Associate- Katy, TX
Pay: $20.00 - 23.00
Shift: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (OT and start time flexible)

Job Description:
This individual will be responsible for transporting materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations using sit-down forklift.

Responsibilities/Job Duties:

Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information. International Shipping experience.
Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.
Process orders in ERP system.
Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).
Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good math and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Safely operate a forklift (following appropriate training)
Efficient time management skills.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or other formal training in related field preferred.
At least two years of related experience required.
Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods of time
Willing and able to work at heights, using ladders or lifts
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Must wear safety gear, such as goggles and gloves, when handling box cutters or similar tools.
