Order Entry Clerk/Inside Sales Irving, TX 75063

The customer service representative is responsible for providing effective customer service for all customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products. The customer service representative will be responsible for processing order, data entry and organization of orders for their Commercial Department. This is full time opportunity in Irving paying up to $16 per hour depending on experience with working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and respond to customers requests/complaints
  • Receive and file purchase orders in appropriate binder
  • Verify accuracy of job orders vs. purchase orders
  • Initiate Extra Purchase Orders
  • Prepare order forms entering into system: contact number, builder name, job address, laminate material color, and plan number
  • Revise schedule and schedule jobs according to work specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers
  • Turn orders to Data Entry Clerk for entry finalization
  • Provide technical advice to customers
  • Resolve field conflicts
  • Order laminate materials

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience
  • Two years of related experience with commercial customer service, non-residential.
  • Knowledge of procedures and methods, including telephone communications and office systems
  • Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
  • Ability to establish priorities, and work independently
  • Ability to establish courteous relationships with customers
  • Kitchen, cabinet or countertop experience would be helpful
  • Working with production builders
  • Familiarity with a computer ERP system
