Production Scheduling Coordinator-- Tomball,TX 77375

Production Scheduling Coordinator needed for full-time opening paying $20 to $30 an hour. Candidates must have experience creating manufacturing production schedules in MS Project to be considered.

This position is accountable for assisting in all facets of Production Control activities including imputing data into the manufacturing system, recording, issuing and tracking work orders, creating and maintaining documentation and ensuring that required material is supplied to the production floor.

  • Assists in planning and managing production schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery of all customer orders.
  • Ensures raw materials are available and allocates raw materials to job order
  • Enters shop labor transactions in QAD.
  • Records transfers and issues of materials in QAD, with responsibilities involving work in process and finished goods
  • Reconciles work order reports; determining inventory variance root cause. Work with team to establish containment and preventative actions.
  • Maintains effective material and product flow through production areas.
  • Inputs data into manufacturing system
  • Follow company policies and procedures. Support and/or participate in the organization s Continuous Improvement Programs. Proactively participates in the Company's E3 Safety Program

  • High School diploma or equivalence required
  • 4 years of manufacturing experience or Bachelor s Degree in lieu of experience
  • Prior experience with ERP/MRP system preferred
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing work-flow principles
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations
  • Team oriented and the ability to operate with a diverse group
