Ensure that all packages are sent out to the customer accurately and promptly, receive all incoming packages, and deliver them to the correct person in the company. Must have 3-5 years of Shipping/Receiving and Forklift experience. Must have valid Driver s License. This position is Temp-to-hire, paying $15.00 - $17.00/hr. Must be flexible to work 1st Shift: 6:30 am - 5:30 pm or 2nd Shift Shift : 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm

  • Packs, seals, and labels to prepare materials for shipping, using work devices such as hand tools and power tools.
  • Determines shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
  • Prepares documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.
  • Contacts carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
  • Ensures that all packages and freight are sent to the customer and/or other Kline facilities accurately and promptly.
  • Secures all received shipments and delivers to appropriate people or departments.
  • Examines contents and compares with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments.
  • Records shipment data, such as item(s), weight, and charges in MAS90 for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.
  • As needed assists the assembly department in the assembly of tools and tool components.
  • Requisitions and stores shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
  • Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources
  • Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
  • Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.


  • High School diploma or GED certification is required.
  • Shipping and receiving experience including experience with Bills of Lading in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Good PC skills a must, including proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing applications and familiarity with MS Office applications.
  • 3-5 years Shipping and Receiving experience
  • 3-5 years experience with forklifts
  • Valid Driver s License
  • Excellent work ethic

  • Able to stand for prolong periods
  • Able to bend. Reach, and lift to 45 pounds regularly, using appropriate lifting techniques and tools
  • Must be able to keep a safe, clean and orderly work area
