Wafer Process Technicians --Sugar Land, TX 77478

Booming corporation with growth opportunities needs 4 Lab Technicians and prefer at least one to be bilingual in English and Vietnamese. Seeking candidates with hands on experience with Chemical Vapor Depositions, Vacuum , high pressure gas cylinders, and/or Wet Etching.Process Technicians to work in the cleanroom with the availability to work any shifts to start but flexible for other shifts depending on Production Schedules. The technician will primarily be responsible for assembly of tiny parts in cleanrooms. **MUST HAVE STEADY HANDS** Must be able to pass hands on assessment and not break fragile products. If worked under microscope or with wafers is a PLUS!

This position is temp to hire paying $14.00/hr. with excellent benefits including 100% paid employee medical, dental and life insurance. Conversion occurs after 6 months of temporary status and is paying $14 an hour to start. The position will start out on first shift Mondays - Fridays from 8 to 5 but all candidates must be flexible to work other shifts and schedules depending on Production Needs.   • Must be comfortable with gowning into clean room (class-100) certified attire every day.
  • Operates production machines including mask aligner, hot plates, oven, PECVD, E-beam evaporator, RTP, and etc.
  • Verifies part or process conformance to specification with approved inspection tools, such as optical microscope, profilometer, ellipsometer, SEM (scanning electron microscope).
  • Must be able to handle corrosive acids and solvents under hood environment with protective garments to do various wet processes.
  • Must be comfortable working with tweezers to handle very fragile InP wafers.
  • Works in accordance to process procedures, work order instructions, drawings, and other production document to conform to specifications.
  • Directly involved in organizing and cleaning common work areas such as various cleanrooms.
  • Maintains equipment experience is a plus. Detects and corrects minor machine malfunctions and performs daily and monthly machine maintenance as directed.
  • Must pay attention to detail and have good organizational skills.


  • High School diploma or equivalent but a Degree in Chemistry related areas is much desired.
  • At least 2 years of experience in any area involving delicate handling such as semiconductor, electronics, and medical laboratory areas
  • Basic computer operating skills required
  • Must be use to wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while handling acids and chemicals
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds
  • Must be flexible to work any shift if later needed
