Valve Assembly Lead-- Pasadena, TX 77507

Under the direction of the Assembly Production Manager, is responsible supervising the disassembly, inspection, assembly, and testing of a variety of automated assemblies. These duties may be part of the repair/warranty program, or as part of new automated assembly program. The job also requires the person to exhibit knowledge of electrical and pneumatic control functionality, operating systems and system design as well as good leadership capabilities. This is a temp to hire position paying $22 per hour!

  •  Must be able to work and promote safety in the work place.
  • Perform receipt inspection of various valves and parts being able to verify and match incoming material with customer and receiving documentation.
  •  Perform disassembly, repair, assembly and troubleshooting on various types of electric or pneumatic assemblies and turn valves.
  • Must be able to read and interpret various electric and pneumatic drawings, customer specifications and component IOM s.
  • Must understand the functionality and purpose of various electric and pneumatic components
  • Must be able to direct and supervise other technicians relative to job completion
  •  Must be able to understand electric and pneumatic control circuits and communicate the same to the management, direct reports and the customer.
  •  Must demonstrate the knowledge and understanding of current test equipment
  •  Must understand and follow pertinent policies and procedures relative to all assigned duties and responsibilities.
  •  Must be customer and people oriented willing to work overtime as required. Understanding this may involve evening and weekend call in, often with very little notice.
  •  Establishes and maintains acceptable attendance habits.
  • Must be willing and capable of assisting on local and long distance field service jobs when required.
  •  Perform other duties as required.
  •  Maintain a 5S work environment.


  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment.
  •  Hands on experience with engineering drawings and specifications, ability to read and interpret diagrams and bill of materials.
  •  Good Working knowledge and use of hand tools, power tools and test equipment.
  •  Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015.
  •  Ability to work in a team environment with fellow employees and managers.
  •  Flexibility to work priority schedules.
  •  Stand up to eight hours per day.
  •  Ability to work in a seated or standing position.
