Client is  looking for a customer-oriented service representative to provide our customers with product/services/information/etc. as needed. Resolving product and service problems by meeting customer requirements. Assisting Customer Service and Sales Representatives when required while supplying excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage phone calls and emails from customers, vendors, our Sales Representatives, and anyone else.
  • Identify and assess customer s needs to achieve satisfaction while building sustainable relationships with customers.
  • Ability to prioritize customer needs and complete less urgent tasks in a timely manner.
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and processes orders from time for entry to shipment, while making sure all order details are accurate including product and pricing.
  • Assist Logistics Manager on posting loads to dispatchers and work with them and drivers to move loads as quickly and cost efficient as possible. Helping maintain a spreadsheet of rates for each lane and dispatcher that hauled the load.
  • Monitors shipments daily by gathering current delivery dates/time from dispatchers and contacting customers with updates.
  • Submits special orders by entering Requisition Forms to the correct suppliers within 24 hours upon receipt from customer or salesman while confirming information is correct based on customer demands.
  • Process mill test reports (mtrs) within 48 hours of sales order process by working with mill suppliers.
  • Maintains customer records by updating account information as needed and inform all other personal required. Maintain pricing notes and question any potentially inaccurate prices.
  • Assist new and current customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services. Contact management or salesman if needed.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed with no conflict.

  • This position requires the ability to adapt and respond to different types of personalities while being able to have excellent communication skills.
