Inventory Control Analyst-- Houston, TX 77041

Inventory Control Analyst with Oracle needed for NW Houston area (77041) for long term temporary assignment that could later convert to a permanent role. Paying $22 an hour. Responsible for ensuring perpetual inventory record accuracy through cycle counts, annual physical inventory counts, adjustments, and associated root cause/corrective action analysis.

  • Plans, leads, and manages annual physical count in accordance with Company policy.
  • Conducts analysis using the company Tools to drive on-hand inventory to lowest feasible levels consistent with customer service objectives.
  • Monitors Oracle System generated reports to detect trends in material variances that affect inventory record accuracy.
  • Plans for future inventory requirements based on orders, production schedules, and forecasts.
  • Prepares financial analysis of inventory as requested by Finance Team.
  • Facilitates excess and obsolete meetings and associated follow up to the finance team.
  • Reviews and maintains the Kanban replenishment system in Oracle and Ultriva.
  • Identifies, Leads, and Supports Perfect Execution projects to drive improvements in inventory record accuracy.
  • Supports all Product Development Initiatives and provides analysis for life cycle management.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor s Degree in business management, finance, accounting or Industrial Engineering preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 3+ years in inventory control/management or related field in manufacturing environment.
  • Microsoft Office including MS Project
  • Oracle experience is required!!  
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally (up to 5%).
