Receive and Inspect purchased parts in order to ensure the accurate delivery of inventory and non-inventory purchase orders. This is a temp to hire opportunity working 1st Shift 6am to 2:30pm paying $24-$28/hr depending on experience!

Responsibilities:

  •  Verify and keep records on incoming shipments and compare identifying information.
  • Counts, weighs and measures incoming items.
  • Verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items and records shortages.
  •  Examine production documents to ensure that all manufacturing, inspection, and outside process steps were performed according to specifications.
  • Examine incoming material and documentation against the purchase order, router, engineering specifications and / or drawings
  •  Notify Engineering Manager or other management staff as discrepancies are noted.
  • Routes deliveries to the proper departments
  •  May direct others in preparing outgoing and receiving incoming shipments.
  •  Electronically receives in all purchase orders, inventory and non-inventory items.
  •  Writes NCR s when necessary to ensure accuracy of delivered items.
  • Maintain working knowledge of ISO documentation and quality requirements.
  •  Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  •  Keep desk and work area clean and orderly.

Requirements:

  •  High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work under a minimum of supervision.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings as they pertain to assembly of inflatable packers or related downhole tools.
  • Ability to pass a test designed to demonstrate finger, hand, wrist and arm dexterity in order to operate proper stamping identification equipment and electric buffing equipment
  • Basic to intermediate skills in MS Office products to include Word and Excel and MRP or related systems.
  • Familiarity with computer networks and e-mail.
  • Must be fork lift certified
  •  Must be able to use basic Inspection hand tools such as O.D. / I.D. micrometers, calipers, Pi tape, etc.
