Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Assurance Specialist is a key position which will assist in all aspects of the quality assurance. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, energetic, and be able to become familiar with the company's processes and learn them quickly and effectively with minimal direct supervision.

This opportunity is temp to hire on First shift Monday- Friday 8:00a.m- 5:00 p.m, paying $20-$25/hr. Benefits upon direct hire!


  • Assist in development and implementation of quality systems and procedures, work instructions and forms
  • Flowchart key business processes
  • Research, develop and conduct training in quality management principles or regulations.
  • Assist in the management of corrective and preventive action systems.
  • Assist with the follow-up of any open CARs/PARs and work with personnel on root cause analysis and planning
  • Assist in the writing of audit reports, gap assessments, and software documentation.
  • Chart, evaluate and report data for quality system metrics
  • Prepare formal reports for management personnel on key performance measures
  • Prepare presentations for quality related reports
  • Assist in implementation of statistical quality control programs
  • Assist in development and execution of process, software, and analytical validation protocols
  • Maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO 17025
  • Assist with analysis of samples using XRF/UVF


  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science required
  • Experience with reviewing SOP s and Audit Responses
  • Experience with ISO 17025 and/or Guide 34
  • Analyst experience preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to conduct limited travel when necessary
  • Candidate must be computer proficient with Microsoft Office Applications and the ability to write procedures, work instructions, forms and the necessary tasks for preparing required data analysis, reports, and general documents.
  • Ability to think critically and logically.
