Quality Control Inspector-- Houston, TX 77018
The Quality Control Laboratory Technician performs routine laboratory procedures to support laboratory functions;produces product; prepares, decontaminates and sterilizes glassware; performs routine analyses of compliance samples and quality-control checks of all inbound and outbound products. Assist developing and implementation of quality and safety programs. They shall assist in to develop methods for inspection, testing, sampling, and training. Evaluates production capabilities, key performance indicators, statistical process control and recommends improvements.

This position is temp to hire, 1st Shift, paying $16-$18/hr!

  • Assist in upholding all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS) and application of all procedures, instructions and documents.
  • Assist in modification, rewrite and implement new procedures, work instructions and forms as required.
  • Maintain the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in accordance with the QMS.
  • Prepare and analyze internal quality audits with respect to the QMS as assigned by the EQSM.
  • Control the calibration of monitoring and measuring devices and monitor their use.
  • Routine quality control testing on all inbound / outbound materials and products as defined by the QMS.
  • Assist in the management of all relevant administration, correspondence, files and archives with respect to the Quality Manual.
  • Manage all quality control processes including the Quality Control Laboratory, laboratory testing, initiation and approval of Certificates of Conformity / Analysis.
  • Maintain all training records, both electronic and paper copies


  • Candidate must have a 0 - 5 years of professional experience in chemical manufacturing, laboratory testing, and quality control.
  • Additional experience in ISO 9001:2008 development, implementation and compliance is preferred.
