Document Control Assistant - needed for a leading manufacturer and marketer of valves, actuators, and controls solutions, providing products, services and innovation for the most challenging applications throughout the energy and process industries.Must have experience working in a Warehouse environment and Quality Control experience, paying $16/hr!!

This position is located on the shop floor and involves standing for extended periods of time. This will be in a non-climate controlled warehouse type environment so candidates must be use to working in a warehouse or shop environment. Fans etc. do keep the area fairly comfortable.

  • Compile QA documents package consisting of the following: Certificates of Compliance, Certificates of Origin, CMTRs, Functional Test Reports, Hydrostatic Test Reports, Non Destructive Test Reports, Paint Report and other related documents as required by the Sales Order, assuring document packages are accurate, complete and completed on time.
  • Answer internal and external emails regarding QA Documentation.
  • Archive and retrieve (scan and index) documentation packages in Filenet and other supplier databases.
  • Prepare trade compliance documentation and related transaction/due trade compliance calculations.
  • Request CMTRs from suppliers as requested/required.
  • Interact with other departments (such as Sales, Contract Administration, Manufacturing, Engineering, Valve Services, etc.) as required to obtain the necessary documents and information.
  • Other related duties as necessary.


  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • MS Suite basics (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Typing (computer and key board use)
  • People skills
  • Detail Oriented
  • Must have Document Control Experience preferably in a shop or warehouse environment
