First Shift – 7:00AM – 4:00PM (Open to working OT when needed)
Pay $23+ depending on experience.

Assembles drilling equipment and land rigs and/or the pieces that go into them using power tools, machines, and/or hands.
Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities
- Assembles drilling equipment and/or the pieces that go into them using power tools, machines, and/or hands.
- Reads detailed schematics or blueprints that show how to assemble the product.
- Verifies conformance of parts to stock list and blueprints, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
- Lays out hole locations and drills and taps holes on parts for assembly.
- Aligns components for assembly, manually or with hoist; bolts, screws, dowels, or rivets parts together, using hand tools or rivet gun; or arranges for assembly by welder and electrician.
- Verifies alignment and tolerances of moving parts, using measuring instruments such as dial indicators and thickness gauges.
- Tests operation of the assembly.
- Assembles, sets up, and operates machines to verify functioning, machine capabilities, and conformance to specifications.
- May form and fasten piping, fixtures, and attachments required to service machine with air, water, and oil.
- Will install Hydraulic and Pneumatic components to specifications.
- Performs assembly duties outside on the rig up pads and on the shop floor.
- Maintains work area and equipment organization and cleanliness.
- Appropriately uses timekeeping system for proper labor reporting.
Mechanical Assembler Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience assembling drilling equipment (top drives, mud pumps, or draw-works) or similar.
- Able to read blueprints or schematics.
