Industrial Painter
Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $18.07 - $21.00 (depending on experience)
Shift: 7:00a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Responsibilities:
Under minimal supervision, the Painter will perform coating and paint applications, sand blasting, and other tasks related to the role.
Responsibilities include:
Mask and prep material for painting
Mix and apply various coatings
Maintain respirator per established program
Move material in and out of booth
Properly store, maintain, and rotate stock to ensure up to Quality standards and business need
Measure paint thickness accurately
Change paint filters as needed
Maintain, clean, safe, environmentally friendly work environment
Shall be required to learn to sand blast and fill in
II. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High School diploma or equivalent.
3 years painting (preferred)
Ability to wear respirator during job function
Good communication/people skills
Common mathematical functions in relation to production needs

III. Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 30 lbs. regularly 40 lbs. intermittently.
- Able to work from floor level to 15 ft. with no restrictions.
- Able to wear full-face respirator for extended period.
- Able to apply paint with hand-held spray equipment and by hand with brushes and other tools
- Able to sand, mask and/or touch-up equipment prior to or after paint or as needed or instructed
- Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment, bending, standing, twisting, climbing or walking.
- Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment
- Must be able to handle hazardous materials safely
- Wear a Respirator in the following categories
o Paint Loose Fitting and or Helmet Hood
o Face, Full Face and/or CE Blasting Helmet
