The Electrical Installer reports to the Electrical Supervisor. The primary objective of the Electrical Installer is to correctly install wiring or components necessary to power various electrical functions of Emergency Medical Services modules.
What Does a Week in the Life of the Electrical Installer Look Like?
- Obtain work assignment from supervisor or team lead.
- Clock in/out of job functions on Shop-Trac.
- Review/confirm Work Instructions in Job Manager.
- Validate that you have all materials and parts to complete job tasks.
- Communicate with Team lead or supervisor if any parts are missing or damaged.
- Ensure you understand all work instructions and prints given, see lead/supervisor if there are any questions or unsure about any information given.
- Run wires neatly throughout the module to correct location per work instructions.
- Install components in the correct location using hand/power tools while following work instructions.
- Sign off completed tasks in Job Manager.
- Check your work when finished, then call QC to inspect.
- Keep your work center cleaned and organized throughout the day.
- Complete “Punch-List” items identified by quality control.
