Job Description

AP/AR Specialist
Temp to Hire
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Mon-Fri; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

We are looking for AP/AR specialist who will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions of the Houston office (the corporate office does financial statements and handles the bank accounts). Attention to detail, multi-tasking and a high level of accuracy is required.
  
Duties
  • Oversee accounting functions of the Houston office.
  • Billing, revenue, commissions, data entry
  • Taking ownership of accounts receivable
  • Approving invoices
  • Correct and approve time cards, sick and vacation pay
  • Run credit cards through online portal
  • Use different systems to rate and invoice
Qualifications
  • Accounting experience including AR, AP, ability to read financial statements
  • Knowledge of payroll and commissions
  • Experience in transportation or moving industry is a plus
  • Advanced computer skills, specifically in Excel
  • High School diploma required, College degree preferred
