Accounting Clerk/File Clerk
Temporary - 1 month
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Position Overview
Seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Accounting Clerk to support the Accounting Manager with invoice processing and filing activities. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, and comfortable working with financial documents in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Accounting Manager with filing and organizing customer invoices
  • Ensure all invoiced transactions are accurately documented and properly stored
  • Maintain both digital and physical filing systems for accounting records
  • Verify invoice details for completeness and accuracy before filing
  • Support basic data entry tasks related to invoicing and accounting records
  • Retrieve and provide invoice documentation as requested by internal teams
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times
  • Perform other administrative and accounting support tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • 1+ year of experience in an administrative or accounting support role preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment
  • Office-based role with routine interaction with the accounting team
  • May involve handling both paper and electronic records
Duration
  • Temporary assignment (duration to be determined based on business needs)
