Job Description

Accounts Payable Specialist
Pay: $25.00+ per hour
Long Term Temporary: 3-4 months+
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with 1 hour lunch

**Bachelor's Degree REQUIRED**
 
Core Qualifications:
  • Extensive AP Experience (5+ years)
    • High-volume invoice processing
    • PO matching and non-PO invoice handling

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., PeopleSoft)
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reconciliations)
Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities:
  • Researching and resolving invoice/payment discrepancies
  • Handling GL coding errors or exceptions

Soft Skills:
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Time management and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication for vendor and internal team interactions
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new systems or procedures (key for temp roles)
