Job Description

Accounting Specialist, 77092
Temp to Hire, possible Direct Hire
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
 
Job Duties:
  • Accounts Payable
     o Reconciling vendor accounts
     o Speaking with vendors and suppliers to ensure charges are accurate and answers payment related concerns
  • Accounts Receivable
     o New Customer credit check for AR
  • Credit Card Maintenance
     o Collecting expense reports
     o Entry of CC transactions for month end close
  • Revise/Create/Document accounting processes
  • Month End and Year End closing tasks – as assigned
  • Assist in audits as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • 5+ years minimum experience in accounting or finance is desired. Prior experience in manufacturing is a plus.
  • Experience with QuickBooks preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Solid communication and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and juggle tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
