Accounts Payable Clerk, 77084
Temp - 6 week project
Mon - Fri 
7:00 a – 4:00 p
$21.00 an hour
 
Duties
  • Enter and post Invoices into MAP and OnBase in a timely and accurate manner for all vendors.
  • Establish and maintain open communication with vendors
  • Provide timely customer service for all calls, emails and questions from vendors
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties including copying and electronic filing
  • Work closely with maintenance shop employees to meet all month end related goals and deadlines
  • Reconcile invoices with corresponding purchase order(s) and prepare invoices for payments
  • Create purchase orders upon request of plant personnel and maintenance personnel
  • Provide support to other projects as necessary
  • Prepare month end accrual listing of all invoices not yet entered into MAP and OnBase along with appropriate general ledger coding

 Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years previous accounts payable experience
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office
  • Intermediate knowledge and experience with Excel
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work collaboratively with others
