Pay: $21.00 per hour

Summary:
The AP Specialist will utilize excellent analytical, organizational and planning capabilities and a commitment to process improvements in order to achieve successful results.

Essential Functions:

• Filing and sorting of all processed/resolved invoices
• Reconciles and maintain vendor statements, vendor accounts, Aged RNV, Aged AP Aging, GL Accounts, Vendor Holds, and AP Workflow (APEI) (within 30 days)
• Performs/understands various matching tools when processing (3-way matching)
• Supports accounting team with other task as required
• Researches and resolves all PO-Related Invoicing Issues
• Performs special projects as assigned by the AP Manager

Competencies and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in interpersonal and business communication
• Proficiency with SXe to update information, leave notes, process invoices, research/resolve po related issues
• Good Knowledge of Statement/GL Reconciliation, Invoice Resolution, 3-way matching, RNV Clearing, AP Aging & Workflow Maintenance
• Basic accounting skills
• Ability to function independently as well as with a team
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Good organizational skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (v-look ups/pivot tables/macros)
• 3-5 years AP Specialist experience a plus
• EDI experience is a plus
• Commitment to excellence in all functions
• Great analytical thinker and quick learner
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities

**Will be responsible for some of the company s crucial accounts. Must have ability to work expediently and pay close attention to detail.**
