Assembler

Job Description
- Perform moderately complex assembly of mechanical or electrical components requiring fitting, adjusting, and/or fabrication for assembly of products
- Ability to use various hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices such as tape measures, height gauges, and calipers
- Ability to accurately read measuring devices to verify accuracy and placement of assembled components, making adjustments as necessary and/or notifying appropriate personnel of non-conformance
- May monitor pressure gauges and document readings for hydro testing
- May measure, cut, and assemble wood to crate finished products
- May train other Assemblers
- Perform multiple production tasks to allow for effective job rotation
- Participate in continuous improvement processes
- Recommend changes to and participate in the review of manufacturing procedures
- May perform electronic transactions within the business operating system
- Perform daily organization and cleanup of work area
- Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions and incidents to supervision
- Perform work of miscellaneous nature
- Experience: Two (2) years of directly related experience required
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (will be verified)
