Job Description

Automation Controls Specialist
Temp to Hire, possible Direct Hire
Salary: up to $85K annually

Job Duties:
  • Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial and industrial purposes.
  • Designs and directs personnel in fabrication, test control apparatus and equipment; determines methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products.
  • Develops applications of controls, instruments, and systems for new commercial and industrial uses.
  • Directs activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.
  • Directs and coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations.
  • Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. CAD, reading and interpreting electrical specification
  • Interact and communicate with customers, vendors, and fellow team members on projects as needs
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of electrical industry experience
  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD design software
  • Must have knowledge MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Project Management Software preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of VFD's, Control Panels, MCC's and PLC's
  • PLC programming skills in Ladder, FBD or STL encouraged
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
