A/R Accountant

The A/R Accountant will be responsible for accounting activities as well as financial reporting to support operations and ensure compliance with generally acceptable accounting principles
Responsibilities
- Handles accounts receivable and on occasion accounts payable.
- Manages all A/R accounting files and records
- Manages A/R accounts and reports
- Prepares and delivers portions of the budget reports.
- Demonstrates the capability to work on multiple projects requiring independent judgment and problem solving.
- Performs general accounting month end and quarter close activities.
- Works with various departments to resolve issues and participate in various ad hoc projects.
- All other duties related to accounting as assigned or needed by the business.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 - 3 years relevant bookkeeping or accounts payable and receivable experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Understanding of accounting principles and ability to read financial statements
- In depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel and advanced skills with
other Microsoft office products - Strong verbal and written communication skills
