Buyer Coordinator – NW Houston, 77043
Direct Hire
Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Salary: $40K - $60K annually
Position Summary:
The Buyer Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the delivery of materials based on scheduled production. This position will work closely with the Buyer/Planner and our suppliers to identify, report, and communicate coverage of parts for production. This position will assist with confirming on-hand inventory for production and report out any misalignment between materials and the production schedule. This position will assist with other Procurement activities as required.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Less than 2 years’ experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others both inside and outside the company.
- Problem Solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Job Qualifications:
- Experience with Infor LX ERP
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering
- Background in Material Planning function and Inventory Management
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment
- Interpreting ERP and MRP data
