Machinist - Horizontal Boring Mill

Pay range: $24 - $28 (depending on experience)
Shift: 4:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. ( must be flexible with OT - currently working 12hr. shift)
Shift Differential - $2.00/hr.

Job Responsibilities and Expectations
1. Dimensions and Tolerances
- Responsibility: Calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematical knowledge and precision instruments.
- Expectations:
- Utilize calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in measurements.
- Maintain detailed records of measurements and tolerances for quality control.
2. Machine Operation
- Responsibility: Set up, adjust, and operate all machines.
- Expectations:
- Proficiently run Horizontal Boring Mills.
- Ensure correct alignment of workpieces and materials before machining.
- Regularly clean and lubricate machines to maintain optimal performance.
- Understand and apply proper speeds and feeds for machining processes.
3. Tool Management
- Responsibility: Maintain personal tools and toolbox.
- Expectations:
- Have a complete set of personal tools suitable for machining tasks.
- Ensure tools are in good working condition and organized for efficiency.
4. Safety Practices
- Responsibility: Prioritize safety in all work activities.
- Expectations:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Actively promote a safe working environment for yourself and others.
