CNC Mill Machinist

1st shift 6am to 2:30pm
- Familiar with Gcodes
- Mori Seki w/Fanuc Controls
- Threading experience: API.. ie. Rotary shoulder connections, buttress..etc., Stub Acme, Acme, 8 round 10 round tapered connections
- Must have set-up experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Set-up and operate CNC machinery in all phases of operation, to run first article parts and/or to proof new programs ensuring quality product throughout the production run.
• Primary duties Include working on new product programs including ensuring production readiness for new launches which includes:
o Review blueprints, drawings, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of part/product, sequence of operations and/or set up requirements.
o Measure, mark and otherwise indicate the dimensions and reference points on the part or material to be used as guides for subsequent machining.
o Select, align and secure the holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines to include mills, lathes and grinders.
o Calculate and set controls to regulate various machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow and depth and angle of cut.
o Start and observe machine operation to detect any malfunctions or out-of- tolerance machining, and adjust the machine controls or control media as necessary.
o Verify conformance of finished part to ensure that it meets specifications.
o Confer with production personnel, engineers or others to resolve machining or assembly issues.
o Perform daily maintenance duties and/or notify supervisor of any equipment- related issues that may require attention.
o Maintain clean and orderly work area.
