CNC Mill Machinist

Job Description
- Ability to work with math concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, etc. as they apply to machining situations.
- Set-up and operate lathe and milling machines as requested.
- Work with Programming on program updates needed or edits made to CNC programs.
- Prioritizing and coordinating machine shop assignments.
- Manufacture product based on knowledge of processes and customer specifications.
- Follow through with all assignments, communicating effectively throughout process.
- Maintain CNC machines and a clean, organized work area on a daily basis.
- Maintain all documentation and follow work procedures and specifications.
- Participate in all improvement initiatives as needed.
- Display a willingness to lead and participate in all machine shop activities.
- Successfully performs the essential functions of the job by properly interpreting situations, demonstrating use of appropriate actions, tools, skills, and/or intuition.
- Meet established deadlines or notify supervisor of issues.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience running lathes and milling machines in a job shop environment.
- Experience with Mori Seiki/DMG or Doosan machines
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and tolerancing (GD&T), and work order routings.
