The Cabinet Assembler is responsible for assembling an entire product or component of a product. This role will perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent
basis.
Essential Job Functions:
ï‚· Safety Sensitive position
ï‚· Fit prefabricated wooden parts together to form complete units
ï‚· Trim and smooth parts to fit using hand or power tools
ï‚· Insert screws or dowels in predrilled holes
ï‚· Install hardware
ï‚· Trims component parts of joints to ensure snug fit using hand or power tools
ï‚· Apply adhesive, bonding agent, sealant, or paint to completed unit
ï‚· Clean foreign matter from the unit using cleaning solution
ï‚· Read blueprints or engineer specifications
ï‚· Maintain cleanliness and all safety standards in assigned area
ï‚· Support other departments as necessary
ï‚· Perform additional assignments in accordance with the Supervisor’s direction
ï‚· Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
Minimum Qualifications:
ï‚· Strong time management and organizational skills
ï‚· Strong verbal and written communication
ï‚· Proficient basic math skills
ï‚· Ability to work in a demanding, multi-task environment
ï‚· Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and vendors
