Collision Paint Tech I
First and Second shift
Pay $20+

Overview:
The Collision Paint Tech I is responsible for preparing and refinishing damaged auto parts and vehicle bodies to meet quality and time standards. This role supports a safe, efficient, and high-quality repair process while working collaboratively within the repair center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform sanding, grinding, masking, surface prep, and cleaning.
  • Mix and adjust paint for accurate color matching and apply finishes to required specifications.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Meet quality, safety, and productivity standards.
  • Work as a dependable team member in a fast-paced repair environment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1–3 years experience as a collision paint technician.
  • Ability to prep, paint, buff defects, and perform quality checks.
  • Experience with refinishing, plastic repair, and priming.
  • Ability to read and follow repair/estimate orders.
  • Valid in-state driver’s license.
  • Preferred: ASE certifications in auto body repair, painting, estimating; vocational training in collision repair; structural repair and refinishing certifications; color-matching experience.
