Mortgage/Lending Coordinator
Temp to Hire
Pay: $20-$22/hour (depending on experience)
HYBRID ROLE
Hybrid - person would be expected to come in the office 2-3 days per week, and work remote the other days (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm). There may be times where they would also be asked to come in during unexpected team absences, vacations, end of month/quarter.
Job Summary: The DUP Coordinator assists with the pending sales process, starts process and closing process for the division. This position is responsible for working closely with and providing a communication link between the sales managers, sales representatives, lenders, appraisers and Title Company. Each coordinator will be crossed trained in all current and future processes put in place to streamline and continue to enhance the DUP Department. Each coordinator will have primary and secondary duties, but all coordinators may be required to assist with any part of the duties listed below depending on the needs of the Company. The duties listed below are not all inclusive and will be subject to change with notice as the needs of the company or Department change.
Duties & Responsibilities
Sales
- Facilitate pending meeting act as a liaison between purchasing, lender, sales and studio of the loan status to authorize a sale to achieve weekly/monthly/quarterly goals
- Contract Auditing (ensure all contract items present including but not limited Purchase Agreement, Addendums, Earnest Money Receipt, Pre-Qualifications, Manager Approvals, etc.)
- File documenting of all required contract items
- Escalate all transactions that are outside of the normal process to Management for approval
- Update report mechanisms with current loan status and notes daily
- Update HB1 and Pricing with Final Sales Price, Customer Incentives and Sales Commissions upon acceptance contract acceptance
Starts Process
- Facilitate starts Meeting act as a liaison between purchasing, lender, sales and studio to authorize starts to achieve weekly/monthly/quarterly goals
- Coordinator and track Loan Status, required Studio Appointments, Permitting and Lot Fit.
- Escalate all transactions that are outside of the normal process to Management for approval
- Update report mechanisms with current loan status and notes daily
Closing Process Back End
- Willingness to take on any additional tasks not listed to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, yearly closing goals now and in the future as the needs of the business change
Report:
- Update and distribute daily/weekly reports and trackers (Sales Takes, Deleted Pending Sales, OSL Tracker, Initial Audit)
Miscellaneous
- Follow up with Sales and Mortgage Loan Officers regarding any open/outstanding items daily
- Process House Plan, Plan Orientation, and/or Plan Elevation Changes and Lot Transfers
- Assist with any requests as it relates to DUP, sales, closing, starts, audit or appraisals
Education: Minimum of a high school education
Experience: Prefer at least 1 year of direct mortgage/lending experience.

Work Requirements
- Work 8-hour days with flexibility for overtime when necessary (end of week, month, quarter, vacations, and unexpected co-worker time off)
- Hybrid office schedule with 2-3 days in office weekly (requires flexibility end of month, quarter, vacations and unexpected co-worker time off)
- Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner to potential buyers, trade partners, and coworkers to reinforce goodwill and profitability for the company
- Professional attire Monday-Thursday, business casual on Friday unless otherwise instructed
- Two-week notification of vacation request
- Notify Manager immediately of any emergency situation that will prevent employee from working a normal workday. (Phone Call, Email, and text preferred when possible.
- All employees will share holiday vacation time yearly. No set vacation time each year unless other team members have not requested the same time frame. We work as a team, all vacation time will be considered, and approvals will be based on staffing and the needs of the department. Not all vacation request is automatically approved, please do not purchase tickets or make arrangement that require upfront money until approval has been granted in writing.
