(10) Credit Customer Support Representatives

TPI Staffing is hiring (10) Credit Customer Support Representatives for possible Temp-to-Hire opportunity paying $16.25 - $21.92/hr. Depending on number of years' experience in Customer Service and/or Financial Background.

There are TWO shift options available: Mon-Fri 11A-8P or Sun-Thurs 11A- 8P. The qualified candidates will be responsible for receiving and responding to inbound inquiries via call and email from Customers, Marketing Associates, and other customer representatives in a Call Center environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for making decision to release orders, note in the system why they made the decision on the release and held accountable to comply with all required validation steps.
  • Handle inquiries and/or disputes received via phone from customers.
  • Resolve collections issues and collect payment information and validate past performance history for trade customers.
  • Update customers log in the system.
  • Disposition calls after completion of the call, capturing reason for call.
  • Conduct and assist post call analysis, identify strategy used and determine if they utilized the appropriate strategy to handle customer issue and/or inquiry.
  • Always focus on customer first model, providing feedback on the process.
  • Demonstrates strong collection knowledge.
  • Strong communication and oral skills; effectively communicate with internal/external customers.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work across functions.
  • Analyzing past due accounts and applying collection treatments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and specialized accounting / finance software systems (e.g., Cora)

Requirements

  • Associate degree required or equivalent combinations of experience and education in lieu of degree required.
  • 2-4 years experience in Call Center/Customer Service, Accounts Receivable, Credit and/or Collections with knowledge of departmental function, terminology, interrelationships.
  • 2-4 years experience in customer center support.
  • Must be comfortable answering HIGH VOLUME calls - Department answers 3500+ calls per day
