General Role Description |
Visually inspects all units to be tested (pre-power inspection), perform production line acceptance testing using a combination of manual and automated test equipment. With strong troubleshooting techniques, the technician should be able to identify problems during tests and provide solutions. |
Role Accountabilities |
- Perform visual inspections on all product lines.
- Perform production line acceptance testing including insulation tests and function tests.
- Ability to work from instructions, drawings, and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and provide results in a timely fashion (strong troubleshooting skills).
- Record test results and complete test reports, paperwork per instructions/procedures.
- Report issues found on failed units.
- Perform some mechanical assembly.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis, and occasionally up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to handle large gage cables.
- Good communication skills and be ableability to function in a team environment with limited supervision.
- Excellent people skills to include collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment.

- Able to follow and comply with Company Safety Standards.
- Available to work on an evening shift: 5:30 pm – 2 am, plus overtime.

Minimum Qualifications |
- 2 - 5 years’ experience in the electric industry.
- Two-year technical degree in Applied Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Eequivalent college hours in engineering or comparable industry experience.
- Must be able to read and interpret schematics.
- Experience in power electronics.
- Experience in operating standard test equipment including DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Power Analyzers, Isolation Testers, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Must possess basic English communication skills sufficient to understand work instructions, safety protocols, and perform essential job functions
