Electronics Technician
1st Shift
$20 - $25/hr

Responsibilities/ Duties:
· Perform final testing and calibration on instruments and assemblies during manufacture.
· Troubleshoot, set up, maintain assemblies, and subassemblies during manufacture.
· Construct components and/or subassemblies and assembles electronic equipment.
· Read schematics and inspect PCB boards to stated specifications.
· Repair instruments for customers and production.
· Take calls for in house and customer technical calls.
· Record, compute and analyze necessary test data and complete necessary documentation.
· Forward all instruments and equipment to Quality Assurance with appropriate documentation.
· Cross train and instruct others.
· Report improper operations, defective materials and unusual conditions to supervision.
· Recommend improvements in quality, procedures, components, and processes.
· Follow safety rules and regulations and maintains a neat, clean and orderly work area.
· Perform other duties as requested by supervisor
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
· Must have working command of the English language, written and spoken.
· Must be able to read and understand technical drawings and manuals
· Must be able to work independently on projects and make technical decisions
· Basic knowledge of technical/electrical assembly (i.e. soldering)
· Basic knowledge of computer programming techniques and languages is desired but not required.
· Two-year technical degree or equivalent preferred.
· Must have formal training in electronics technology.
· 3 to 5 years’ years’ experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical fields.
· Must be computer literate.
