Night Shift - 3:30PM to 11:00 PM
$14.50-$16.50/hr
Objective/Summary
The embroidery assistant is responsible for executing decoration finishing procedures in an efficient manner in adherence to quality standards.
Essential Functions
- Cut excess material (backing) and trim excess threads off finished products.
- Marks items with defects such as spots, stains, or snags and communicates with supervisor to rectify issues.
- Steams decorated items to remove hoop marks.
- Performs final quality checks in adherence to quality standards.
- Separates and packs finished products in an organized manner with packing slips when applicable.
- Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Complies with all company standards as outlined in the employee handbook.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
- The position is based in a production facility.
- The role requires standing for extended periods and may involve bending, lifting, and moving materials.
- Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate small machinery and tools.
- The work environment is fast paced with noise from machinery. Ear protection and other safety gear may be required.
- The work area must be kept clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Occasional exposure to steam and cleaning products may occur.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or embroidery environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
- Ability to operate machinery and tools used in the trimming and finishing processes.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to interact with supervisors and coworkers.
- Ability to maintain focus and accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety standards and practices.
