Embroidery Operator

Shifts: 2nd shift 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00/hour
Objective/Summary
The embroidery operator accurately decorates items in adherence to quality standards while maintaining consistent production goals.
Essential Functions
• Operates embroidery machinery following all safety protocols.
• Reviews all paperwork to accurately decorate items – any decoration/paperwork questions should be addressed with supervisor prior to starting an order.
• Adjusts thread colors, needles, and regulates machine settings to ensure quality standards are preserved.
• Carefully hoop and position items on machine during decoration process to prevent damages.
• Observes decoration process to detect defects in embroidery application indicating malfunction.
• Communicates all machine malfunctions to supervisor. May repair defective embroidery left by machine only when approved by supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Complies with all company standards as outlined in employee handbook.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with no supervisory responsibilities. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 40 hours per week. Occasional weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
