Facility Electrician
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:15 PM
Pay: $16–$25/hr (DOE)
Location: Sugar Land, TX
Job Summary
The Facility Electrician performs commercial electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to support safe and reliable building operations. This role also assists with general facility maintenance as needed.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, panels, lighting, outlets, breakers, and equipment
Perform daily inspections of electrical rooms, panels, and backup power systems
Maintain and repair facility lighting systems
Complete work orders per SOP and ensure NEC and local code compliance
Identify and correct hazardous conditions
Coordinate with and escort vendors and contractors
Assist with general facility maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, building repairs)
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience
Journeyman Electrician license preferred
Experience with conduit bending, motors, panels, and lighting systems
Ability to read electrical diagrams and blueprints
Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in tight spaces or varied conditions
