Shop Helpers Needed – 2nd Shift (Deer Park, TX)
Second Shift: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am (Overtime flexibility required)
Pay Rate: $14 - $15/hr (Depending on experience)
Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery under the guidance of experienced team members
- Supply materials and tools to workstations
- Load and unload items from machines
- Prepare gaskets for shipping
- Use a belt sander and hand grinder to remove burrs, grind welds, and bevel rings
- Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality
- Report defective materials, faulty equipment, or questionable conditions to the Lead
- Cut cardboard strips using a paper cutter
- Attach gaskets to cardboard backings with a hot glue gun or staple gun
- Secure rings according to work order instructions
- Print and attach tags to gaskets
- Assist assemblers and work on center-pull tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety regulations
