Essential Functions and Responsibilities
• Ability to operate a pallet jack
• Measure, count and pack shades into clean cardboard cartons with packing material
• Responsible for the accurate storing, picking, packing, and receiving of product
• Examine and inspect shades and cartons for damage prior to shipping
• Meeting safety, security, accuracy, and productivity standards of the facility
Qualifications
• One year of experience in a warehouse environment
• Familiar with warehouse concepts, practices, and procedures is required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be eighteen years of age or older
• Excellent communication skills, bilingual a plus, English/Spanish
• Good math, reading, and communication skills
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and lifting a minimum of 10 pounds regularly and 40 pounds infrequently
• Soft computer skills a plus but not required
• Other job duties when applicable
