Generalist I - $26.00 to $31.00 per hour
Generalist II - $31.00 to $36.00 per hour
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions
- Support onboarding programs for new hires, including orientation and training sessions.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System)
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits and compensation programs.
- Contribute to the performance management process, including tracking performance reviews and providing support to managers
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits and compensation programs
- Manages employee training and development programs, assessing effectiveness and identifying needs for improvement
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Provide guidance to employees on HR-related inquiries and assist in resolving employee relations issues
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring to complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas of improvement.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Perform other Duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed to complete reports.
- Knowledge of HR practices and employment law.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2-4+ years of experience in HR or relevant field
- SHRM certification a plus
