Pay Range: $34-$41/hr based on degree and working experience.
The HR Representative is an HR professional who partners closely with leaders and employees to deliver effective people solutions aligned with business objectives. This role requires strong HR acumen and the ability to clearly and professionally communicate HR insights, recommendations, and risks to all levels of the organization, including upper-level management. The HR Representative balances hands-on execution with consultative support, serving as a trusted advisor while ensuring compliance, consistency, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to provide strategic and tactical HR guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management, communicating HR perspectives, recommendations, and implications in a clear, concise, and professional manner
- Lead and support employee relations matters, including investigations, documentation, and resolution, ensuring alignment with company policy and employment laws
- Translate HR policies, programs, and initiatives into practical guidance for leaders and employees
- Support talent management processes including onboarding, performance cycles, development planning, and employee engagement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations and internal policies
- Collaborate with HR colleagues and cross-functional partners to support continuous improvement of HR programs and processes
- Analyze HR data and trends to inform decision-making and proactively address workforce needs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong working knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with leaders at all organizational levels, including senior and executive management
- Proven ability to influence, advise, and build credibility with stakeholders
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment when handling sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting operational, field-based, or technical employee populations
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent)
- Experience working in a multi-site or matrixed organization
