Heavy Equipment Technician
$33 - $35/hr
Direct Hire
1st shift 7AM - 4PM with OT available
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Perform detailed inspections and critical diagnostics on a variety of failures.
Conduct routine maintenance and complete complex repairs.
Make timely parts orders to ensure efficient workflow.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation and shop.
Perform all duties safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Adhere to safe work practices by consistently wearing required personal protective equipment.
Complete other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
10+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair.
Demonstrated knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems.
Ability to follow directions and use deductive reasoning to complete assigned tasks.
Good organizational, communication, and computer skills.
Must own appropriate tooling.
Ability to work overtime during the week or weekends as necessary.
Preferred Additional Experience/Skills
Experience with CAT service information databases.
Operation or maintenance training on CAT equipment.
Advanced technical systems experience.
Familiarity with CAT equipment configurations and attachments.
