Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience: Two (2) years of directly related experience
MAJOR DUTIES/FUNCTIONS
1. Perform moderately complex assembly of mechanical or electrical components requiring fitting, adjusting, and/or fabrication for assembly of products
2. Ability to use various hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices such as tape measures, height gauges, and calipers
3. Ability to accurately read measuring devices to verify accuracy and placement of assembled components, making adjustments as necessary and/or notifying appropriate personnel of non-conformance
4. May monitor pressure gauges and document readings for hydro testing
5. May measure, cut, and assemble wood to crate finished products
6. May train other Assemblers
7. Perform multiple production tasks to allow for effective job rotation
8. Participate in continuous improvement processes
9. Recommend changes to and participate in the review of manufacturing procedures
10. May perform electronic transactions within the business operating system
11. Perform daily organization and cleanup of work area
12. Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions and incidents to supervision
13. Perform work of miscellaneous nature
