Production Technician
3 months Temporary
Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with the potential for overtime, as needed.
Pay range is $21-24/hr, dependent on experience.
Looking for a candidate that has a least 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical tech, leak testing tech, and mechanical assembly.
Summary of Position:
The Production Technician’s main responsibility is to design, assemble, calibrate, test, and audit company leak test products. Ensuring that the products are manufactured in accordance with the specifications, drawings, and procedures for each product, on time and within budget.
Duties and Responsibilities:
ï‚· Design, Build, Calibrate, Test and Audit leak test products per specifications and procedures for each product within the budgeted hours.
ï‚· Verify conformance to product specifications, application protocols, and audit document outcomes.
ï‚· Perform basic troubleshooting to resolve issues on production floor and provide feedback for continuous improvement of products and processes.
ï‚· Maintain100% accurate and timely documentation on job hours, BOM/parts used, production data et cetera.
ï‚· Ensure appropriate calibrated instruments and tools are used consistently.
ï‚· Adhere to ISO-9001 and any other applicable quality policies and procedures.
ï‚· Comply with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations, quality, and compliance policies.
ï‚· Maintain a clean and organized production area.
ï‚· Meet or exceed set goals and objectives for department and organization.
ï‚· Continuously learn and receive training on new products and technology.
ï‚· Work diligently and efficiently, keeping in mind quality practices consistently.
ï‚· Keep a cooperative attitude with team members, leaders, and co-workers.
ï‚· Work overtime, weekends, and holidays, per business needs.
ï‚· Travel to Uson customer sites when/if required.
ï‚· Performs other duties as required.
Requirements:
ï‚· High school education or higher, technical or associate degree preferred.
ï‚· Basic knowledge of hand tools and usage.
ï‚· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or assembly environment
ï‚· Knowledgeable of assembly, electronic, and pneumatic parts.
ï‚· Knowledgeable in reading and understanding drawings or schematics.
ï‚· Working knowledge of ISO policies and work instructions.
ï‚· Strong Interpersonal skills to include but not limited to, solid oral and written communication.
