Industrial Painters
1st: 4:30/5am- 3:30/4pm
2nd: 3/3:30pm - 4am
Monday- Saturday

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Industrial Painter to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing various industrial surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare surfaces using power tools, sandblasters, and chemical etchants to remove rust, scale, and old paint.
  • Application: Apply primers, enamels, epoxies, and polyurethanes using airless sprayers, HVLP systems, rollers, and brushes.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and troubleshooting of spray guns, hoses, and mixing equipment.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products for runs, sags, or "holidays" (missed spots) and ensure coating thickness meets specifications using dry film thickness (DFT) gauges.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA standards, including the proper use of PPE (respirators, coveralls, fall protection) and the safe handling/disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings and work orders to determine specific coating requirements and masking areas.
Work Environment
  • Exposure to fumes, dust, and varying temperatures.
  • Requires wearing a respirator for extended periods.
  • May involve working at heights or in awkward physical positions
  • Non-Climate controlled
